Liberty appoints new Claims Manager for Swiss markets

1st September 2016, LONDON – Liberty Specialty Markets (LSM), part of Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, has appointed Gion Caprez as Claims Manager. Caprez will be responsible for the entire Swiss Claims area, including the German, French and Italian speaking areas. Caprez will start on 1st September and will be based in Liberty’s Swiss office in Zurich. He will report to Mike Gillett, LSM’s Head of Claims, and Felix Boeni, Head of the Zurich office.

Caprez has a strong reputation in the European claims market. Prior to joining Liberty he was Head of Financial Lines Claims at Zurich for over 12 years. He has also been a Manager at La Dolce Vita, based in Mexico, and has worked as Legal Counsel for Generali.
