Our retail business in Asia operates across China, India, Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam. These businesses go to market predominantly under the Liberty Insurance brand, providing Motor, Health, Home, Commercial and Travel Insurance to individuals and businesses. The team writes approximately S1.9bn of business in the region.
In Asia, the Liberty retail and commercial and specialty teams have historically been distinct, operating with separate brands, licences and teams. Work is currently underway to unify the Liberty business across Asia, and go to market as one Liberty across the region.
Commercial & Specialty
Through offices in Singapore, Australia, China*, Hong Kong and Malaysia, the Asia Pacific team provides insurance solutions to 26,000 businesses and government clients across the region. The team writes approximately US$1 billion in GWP.
Core to Liberty's way of working in Asia Pacific is the concept of the Integrated Business Unit – all parts of the business partnering and valuing each other's contribution to deliver outstanding broker and client outcomes.
