Liberty appoints Love to Stamford Reinsurance team

06 November 2017, LONDON – Liberty Specialty Markets (LSM), part of Liberty Mutual Insurance, has appointed Bruce J. Love as Director of Assumed Reinsurance in its Casualty Treaty department. He will be based in LSM’s office in Stamford, Connecticut.

Reporting to Thomas A. Greene, LSM’s Head of Casualty – Reinsurance, Bruce will be responsible for producing, underwriting and servicing casualty and professional liability treaty reinsurance accounts.

Joining from Munich Re, where he held the role of Vice President for two years, Bruce began his insurance career in 1989 with National Re. Since then, he has held a variety of positions with Genesis Underwriting Managers (a unit of General Re), Discover Re, Employers Re as well as 13 years with Transatlantic Reinsurance Company in both its facultative and treaty operations.
