Arthur Delargy is a Principal Risk Engineer in the Onshore Energy team at Liberty Specialty Markets (LSM). He focuses on global gas, LNG, and energy transition projects, including leading both construction and operational surveys. In addition, Arthur leads LSM’s Global Risk Engineering Technology Committee and is responsible for reviewing and screening new technologies, including First-of-a-Kind (FOAK) risks. 

Arthur is a Process Engineer by background with over 35 years of experience. He has worked in consultancies such as KBR and served as a Development Advisor for international oil companies, including Centrica, Engie, BG Group, and Suncor. His expertise spans field development planning, gas monetisation, new energies, digital transformation, as well as operations and maintenance. 

He has supported a number of new energy projects, including the development of risk assessment frameworks for green and blue hydrogen, CCUS, plastics recycling, and biomethane on behalf of the insurance industry. His work also includes a green ammonia study and examining the feasibility of large-scale CCUS in Southeast Asia. 

Arthur holds a Master of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London.
