Shodh Swatwacha / Fusing is the 6th and last painting which demonstrates the acceptance of my two worlds and the dreamlike intersected place which I have created for myself.
This memoryscape has balanced complementary colours representing the steadiness in my journey at this moment. Here I have painted the background landscape from London, a snowy day perfectly in contrast with my Indian sunny background. The figure in the middle going towards London and my family merges with the landscape. Friends from London in the background are the companions who made my stay comfortable. The other symbolic details have been introduced for viewers to walk into my world and connect with their own.
I use oil paints to create layers of time and space in this work which allow me to experiment and draw my imaginations.
