Anthropomorphism (Landscape) I & II
Two quilts part I & II, nr I explores what is going on in the sea and the water, nr II explores the dry land. Compositions are partly abstract, where parts are trapunto quilted in combo with reactive digital printing and my mother’s textile cut-outs she never got to put together before she passed away. These quilts explore how the wild nature of northern Norway can influence and develop identity seen from a family perspective created from heirloom textiles after my mother.
