Liberty Speciality Markets has operated in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) since 2006 through an insurance office in Dubai, providing local brokers and insurance companies with more capacity to meet the growing market place need for specialty insurance products.

Since then, we have rapidly established a presence in this key market and, in 2015, established a new, DFSA regulated Coverholder Company – Liberty Specialty Markets MENA Limited – plus a second office in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). This has allowed us to take full advantage of the Lloyd’s platform in the region as both an intermediary and Lloyd’s Approved Service Company Coverholder. The move to writing on Lloyd’s paper means we can provide additional specialist product lines which were unavailable previously and which complement our existing Company business.

Our local expertise combined with the strength and financial stability of the Liberty Mutual Insurance Group means we are well equipped to meet the demands of our brokers and clients.
