Biography
Kirk Maddern was appointed COO, Liberty Specialty Markets (LSM) in July 2014. He is responsible for inspiring and driving operational excellence in LSM by devising short and long-term operational strategies across the business and implementing these effectively within all LSM business units.
Before his appointment to his current position, Kirk was COO for Liberty Syndicates Management.
Kirk joined Liberty in 2010 from Aon, where he was the Operations Director in the Specialty Large Corporate division.
Kirk is a Director on the Board of the Placing Platform Limited and has held this position since the utility company was formed to drive adoption of e-trading in the insurance market.
Kirk attended Southend College of Business & Technology.
