Liberty Mutual Insurance (LMI), the commercial lines division of Liberty Specialty Markets, has appointed Natalie Briggs and Ian Floyd to boost its claims service nationally.
Natalie Briggs is a Senior Claims Specialist. This is a newly-created role and she will work on Casualty claims covering London and the South. Based in London, she will report to Nikki Barrett-Browne – UK Casualty Claims Manager. Ms Briggs has over 20 years’ claims experience and prior to joining LMI she worked at Davies Managed Systems, a claims solutions provider. Before that she worked in private practice litigation, working on EL/PL claims.
Ian Floyd is a Senior Claims Specialist – UK Commercial Auditor. This is another newly-created role and Mr Floyd will work on Casualty claims across the UK. He will be based in LMI’s Manchester office, joining existing claims staff Dawne Chandler and Marisse Ellison-Smith. Mr Floyd has 28 years’ claims experience with various insurers and third party administrators in the London and regional markets. He most recently worked as Technical Quality and Audit Manager at Robins Claims Solutions.

LMI’s commercial lines division was launched in the UK in 2011 to target the mid-market commercial sector. The division offers a wide range of products including property, casualty and financial lines, backed up with risk management and risk engineering services. In addition to its London office, LMI has regional offices in Birmingham, Bristol, Glasgow, Leeds, and Manchester.
