Who we are

Liberty Specialty Markets is part of Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, which was established in 1912 and is currently the 8th largest property and casualty insurer globally. (S&P Global 2024)

Liberty Mutual’s Global Risk Solutions (GRS) division serves the insurance and risk management needs of businesses across the globe through four business units: Liberty Mutual Surety, GRS North America, Liberty International Insurance and Liberty Mutual Reinsurance.

In 2013 Liberty Specialty Markets (LSM) was established – it is part of the Liberty International Insurance (LII) division. The European division is headquartered in Luxembourg.
