Biography
Nik Mahida has been a Financial and Professional (FINPRO) Lines Claims Manager at LSM since September 2018. He is one of the individuals responsible for managing a global portfolio of claims across multiple lines of business including financial institutions, professional indemnity, directors & officers and strategic assets (including cyber liability). Nik’s role includes driving the FINPRO claims strategy, managing LSM’s in-house and TPA claims teams, and coverholders, as well as personally handling a portfolio of the large and complex FINPRO claims.
Before his appointment to his current position, Nik was a Senior Claims Specialist within the FINPRO Claims team, having joined LSM in November 2015.
Prior to his time at LSM, Nik worked as a Senior Claims Specialist at Chubb, before which he trained and qualified as a solicitor at CMS Cameron McKenna.
Nik is a member of the LSM Global Claims Experience Group. He also represents LSM on the IUA Cyber Legal & Claims Sub-Group.
He has an LLB from University of Warwick and is a qualified Solicitor (admitted September 2010).
